Hundreds of women have walked through my doors. Hundreds of different stories, hundreds of why boudoir. No matter what your why is, I am so happy you’re here and considering taking the leap.
Before we get into the why boudoir of it all, Let me introduce myself. My name is Haley, Wisconsin Boudoir Photographer I’m the woman behind the camera at Haley Sophia Photography and Haley Sophia Boudoir, and I am SO happy you’re here! I’ve been a photographer for THIRTEEN years, and have been photographing boudoir for 6 of those years. These last 6 years have been the best, most rewarding years of my life.
I’m constantly challenging women to go outside of their comfort zones and book a boudoir experience. Why you ask? Why Boudoir?
1. Nothing good comes from comfort zones. Doing something outside of your comfort zone helps you grow!
Let’s be real – getting naked with a stranger is outside of most people’s comfort zones. I try to make the experience as easy for you as possible. From booking and preparing for your session to the day of your session, I am here for you every step of the way! I’m not just your photographer, I’m your friend.
I offer outfit assistance and a full client closet for you to use for your session. I recommend bringing one outfit you love, the rest you’re welcome to pick from our client closet. We have a plethora of different outfit options from bra/undie sets, bodysuits, garter sets, robes, body chains, harnesses and so much more! There’s a little something for everybody in our closet.
2. For some reason the world looks down upon women who show their bodies, and quite frankly I want to change the world. Your body deserves to be CELEBRATED.
Most people’s number one fear about a boudoir experience is “I don’t know how to pose!” That’s what I’m here for! I get into each and every pose before you to show you exactly what it will look like. I pose you head to toe, help coach facial expressions, and offer comedic relief to help ease your nerves on session day. We will have so much fun together!
All of our sessions offer hair/makeup services to pamper you before your experience. We work with two AMAZING makeup artists who are registered and insured businesses. These ladies are comfortable working with all different skin types and are here to give you the makeup of your dreams.
3. Society and social media have convinced women that things like stretch marks, cellulite, and even body hair are “imperfections” and something to be ashamed of and covered up. I want to normalize ALL bodies, and help change society’s fucked up standards of women’s bodies.
If you’re considering taking the leap, know that there will never be a “right time.” You’re never going to feel 100% ready. You don’t need a reason or a milestone to invest in a boudoir experience. Simply learning to love and celebrate your body again is reason enough.
Everyone deserves a boudoir experience at LEAST once in their lifetimes. Embrace those nerves. Feel that fear, do the damn thing anyway. You will leave with a newfound appreciation for your body and all you’ve been through together.
